Programs for Children
School-year programs include:
Storytime

Storytime is on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM and Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. (Same program is repeated.) Stories, new and old, rhymes, songs and movement are all part of this program for children and the grown-ups who bring them! Best for ages 3 to 6 but older and younger siblings are welcome! After the 30 minute program, there is time for adults and kids to socialize and enjoy a snack in the room. Age-appropriate toys and books are available.

Mother Goose on the Loose & Playgroup
Mother Goose on the Loose is a 30 minute nursery rhyme program for children from birth to age 3 on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Children and their adult caregivers are welcome to socialize and enjoy a snack in the room after the program ends. Age-appropriate toys and books are available.
Lego Club
LEGO building bricks and DUPLOs are available for kids of all ages to build with and have fun on Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. A theme may be offered but usually it’s a fun and relaxing way to spend an hour. Children younger than 6 must have a caregiver in the room but older kids may build independently while parents are nearby. There is WiFi in the lower level of the library!
