NMS Summer Reading

Dear NMS Students,
Over the summer, you are required to read at least one book that is challenging, yet interesting. When you return to school you will be required to complete a product about one of the books you read. Your reading teacher will be assigning the product within the first week of school. The products and due dates will vary, but the grade for your product will be reflected in the 1st term progress report.
There will be no reading list sent home this year. You may choose a book that is appropriate for your interest and reading level. To help select a book you may refer to:
- The Middleborough Public Library which will have a suggested reading list available.
- The American Library Association website which also has great suggestions: www.ala.org
- The Middleborough Public School website which has a summer reading list posted: www.middleboro.k12.ma.us
- Ask friend and family for their recommendations
Please examine this list of books that you may not read, as you will read them during the next school year. Products based on these books will not be accepted.
