Library Public Computers
The Library provides public computers for internet access, word processing, internet-based email, reference, educational purposes, and more. Computers are available in the Main Library, Children's Library, and Genealogy Room.
You must have your SAILS library card in your possession in order to use a Library computer. No exceptions will be made, except that visitors from outside the SAILS region may obtain a guest pass at the main desk (provided that they are over 18 or accompanied by a parent or guardian).
Computers may be used for up to 240 minutes per day. Patrons requiring additional time for online testing or a similar purpose may be granted additional time at the discretion of the Librarian.
There is no charge for computer use, however, printouts from all library computers cost 10¢ per page for black and white; 50¢ for color.
Public computers are for use by one person ONLY. Persons wishing to share a computer must obtain permission in advance from the main desk. Users sharing a computer or laptop must both be older than 18, have internet permission, or be a child accompanied by a parent or guardian.
