Drama Workshop with Grumbling Gryphons

In this workshop, kids learn the story of Anansi- the trickster spider based in West African folktales.  They will learn to act out different animals within the story and play some African instruments.  Families are encouraged to stay for the full performance at 6:30 p.m.  when kids can join in the show.  The 6:30 p.m. performance will be open to all.  The workshop requires registration so we can prepare materials.  Please call the library at 508-946-2470 to register.   Both the workshop and performance will take place in the large ballroom at the Town Hall at 10 Nickerson Ave.

Funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies.  This program is generously supported by the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library.
