Intro to Dungeons & Dragons Club -- Ages 10-13

Learn how to play D&D with a pre-set adventure over 3 sessions. Limited space.
Buttonwood Zoo to You -- All Ages
Wednesday, July 8 - 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Drop in to see live animals, biofacts, and do a craft.

Kokedama Workshop for Teens -- Ages 12-17
Thursday, July 11 - 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Create this Japanese-style plant display. This program is funded in part by a grant from the Middleborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Picone Farm Excursion -- Ages 8-17
Saturday, July 11 - 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Learn about, walk, and sketch Picone Farm and the community garden with Conservation Agent Patricia Cassady and Rich Picone. *Held at 415 Plymouth St., Middleboro.
Recylced Seed Paper Workshop -- Ages 10-17
Thursday, July 16 - 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Learn about about native wildflowers and make recycled seed paper.
Teen Farm to Table Lunch: California Rolls & Smoothies -- Ages 11-17
Thursday, July 23 - 11:30-1:30 p.m.
Cut fresh ingredients for your customized California rolls, dipping sauces, and smoothies.
Tree of Life Pendant Workshop -- Ages 12-17
Thursday, July 28 - 1:00-3:30 p.m.
Create tree-shaped wire pendants with colorful stone beads using jewelry tools.
Interactive Revolutionary War Event with Tom Quirk -- All Ages
Wednesday, August 5 - 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Join us for an interactive experience: stories, fife demo, and artifacts portraying life in the 18th century.

Etienne's Learn With Laughter Show -- All Ages

Join Étienne on a fast-paced circus adventure, featuring juggling and zany balances. Fun for the whole family!

Clay Garden Gnome Workshop -- Ages 11-17

Craft a whimsical clay gnome to decorate your garden or houseplant.
Flying High Dogs at Battis Field -- All Ages

Come see Mike Piazza and his dogs perform on *Battis Field at 26 Jackson St.

The Middleborough Public Library and the Middleborough Public Schools are partnering together through Public Library Connect to provide access to thousands of titles for students’ use inside the classroom, at home and anywhere 24/7.
Through Sora, students can now borrow from both the school’s collection of classroom and recreational reading titles as well as from Middleborough Public Library's digital collection.
Sora will automatically filter content to only include age-appropriate titles depending on each student’s grade level.
Follow the instructions shown below or here to be able to browse and borrow digital reading material from the Middleborogh Public Library--SAILS Library Network with your Sora app.
Using Sora (the student version of the Libby app) available to all Middleborough students to add a library:
Click or tap

- Scroll down and tap "Add Library."
- Use the search box to find and select "Middleborough Public Library -- SAILS Library Network" to access age-appropriate material in Middleborough's digital collection. The library will open in the Explore tab and be saved so you can get back to it later.
- You'll be asked to sign in the first time you try to borrow a book or place a hold. Select your school to continue and enter your ClassLink credentials.
- To switch between libraries in Sora, select a library from the menu or from the drop-down at the top of the Explore tab.
Join Ms. Amanda for Farm Tales at Benson's Pond Cranberries on Thursday, June 25th at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a story and learn about how cranberries grow. Open to ages 5-8. Registration is required. Please register all children attending. Space is limited. Click here to register.
All participants must sign a waiver prior to this program. You can do this at the Library's Children's desk.
The bog area is sandy, grassy and can be wet and muddy. Please have all group members properly dressed and prepared for these conditions and for the day’s weather (including shoes). Most of the program is outside. Please bring plenty of water. There can be ticks on the bogs so repellent along the legs is suggested. There are portable restroom with running water on site, including one ADA. The farm store will be open which has local, cranberry themed items available for purchase.


Toe Jam Puppet Band brings their Variety Show to the Town Hall lawn on Tuesday, June 30th at 6:30 p.m.
This family friendly concert has become an annual tradition at the beginning of our summer season. Get ready to dance and sing along.
Bring a blanket or seats and anything you may need to enjoy an evening concert outdoors (hats, insect repellent, etc.)
In the case of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the Town Hall's ballroom.
All ages welcome. No registration required.
