Library Highlights

  • Louis Garafalo, author of “Peter Oliver: the Loyalist Perspective on the American Revolution,” presents “Middleboro: The First 150 Years," here at the Library on Wednesday, May 8th at 3:00 PM. This program is open to the public with no registration required to attend.

  • Teens ages 11-18 now have their own space inside the Library. It's the perfect spot for gaming, crafting, studying, or just hanging out with friends. No library card or registration is required for use.

  • Through May 1st: Drop off gently used or new kids items to the Children’s Room, as donations to our Kids Stuff Swap happening on Saturday, May 4th, and receive a ticket to attend the swap preview party in addition to the event. If you are unable to donate, that’s okay; attendance to the swap is free and you do not have to donate or earn a ticket to participate. The 4th is also Star Wars day, and so we'll feature lots of exciting related activities for our attendees--including a Costume Parade!

  • Patrons get a choice as to where to use the Zoo New England pass: One pass allows you to attend either the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston or the Stone Zoo in Stoneham at a reduced admission rate for everyone in a group of up to six (6) visitors. Click here to check date availability and reserve your pass. Thank you to the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library for their sponsorship.

  • Magazines have come to OverDrive! SAILS Libraries are now subscribing to 25 titles that you can access anytime, anywhere, as part of our digital collection. Click here to start browsing the collection, which may be read  through the Libby and OverDrive apps, or directly through the Overdrive site.
