Monday, February 17: The Library is closed in observance of Presidents' Day.

Library Highlights

  • Come to the Library for 2020 Census information sessions on back-to-back Saturdays. Open to the public with no registration required to attend.

  • Appointments begin on Thursday, February 13th. This service is free of charge but registration is required. All registrations must be made through the COA; please do not call the Library to sign up.

  • The Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA, has provided the Library with bookmarks good for free admission to the museum for up to two adults, now through April 26th, offered in part to promote their newest exhibition, "Jacob Lawrence: The American Struggle." Bookmarks are available on the Main Floor of the Library. There is no registration or reservation necessary to use this offer; this promotion is not part of our regular museum pass program.

  • The Library is again participating in the annual Boston Bruins PJ Drive. Middleborough donors will be entered into a raffle to win prizes and may have $3.00 in owed fees/bills waived with each donation (restrictions apply to lost/damaged item fees and all museum pass fines). Help the state reach their goal of 13,000 pajamas for babies, kids, and toddlers from February 1st through March 15th.

  • The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Massachusetts Library System are now providing patrons state-wide with access to new database resources. To browse them and all other similar and unique offerings, visit our Databases page by clicking here.
